PHOTO RETAILER INVENTS NEW FORM OF
ADVERTISING -- ON CUSTOMER PRINTS
ESCONDIDO, CALIF., MARCH 15, 2007 -- Card-Mott Corp has completed successful beta testing of their Picture-Plus method of advertising on digital photo pints.  The trial was conducted at Digi-Dog Photo in Escondido, California.  Picture-Plus offers advertisers a new highly-targeted advertising medium, and customers, discounted 4x6 prints with an attached coupon.  Consumers involved in the trial filled out a simple on-line survey and attached meta-tag information to their pictures.  Picture-Plus’ patent pending concept will select advertisements or coupons that match the keyword tags inputted by the customer, and attach a coupon or advertisement to the final print.  The combination of low print prices and value added coupons gave dramatic results.

“I came for the discounted prints, and I’m also gonna get 20% off dinner for my whole family?  This is a better deal than I knew, “ said one new customer to Digi-Dog Photo.  Another customer claimed, “the price is right and you’ve actually given me some coupons I can use.”

One owner of a local restaurant remarked, “I’ve looked, but I haven’t found any form of advertising that guarantees a customer will see it.  This makes sense.  With my coupon attached to the photo, I’m right in front of the customer.”

“Picture-Plus advertising seems to be working for several reasons,” says Rich Mottla, owner of the Picture-Plus method.  “You can’t look at the print and not see the advertising.  Also, because of the key-word tags, the ads will be very relevant to the consumer, which is next to impossible to achieve in print advertising.”  The Picture-Plus trial motto was: guaranteed eye balls on every ad.  And while results are still early, the following data has been collected:

     -- 80% of 4x6 prints ordered were Picture-Plus prints.
     -- 50% of Picture-Plus users were new customers to the store.
     -- 55% increase in 4x6 print revenue.
